I found this holiday tag on SimplyLovely90 and I thought hell, I want to do this too. It is the Holidays after all. She also so kindly said others should participate if they wanted to. This tag was originally found on the Facebook group Boss Girl Bloggers. Go check both of these bloggers out. NOW!
In SimplyLovely90’s own words: To help spread some holiday cheer and winter vibes, I’m going to be tagging three people at the end of the post. If you’re tagged, create your own blog post answering the questions and then tag three others (make sure you also link back to the original person who tagged you)! Even if you haven’t been tagged, I would love to hear some of your answers. Please feel free to create a post or answer in the comments!
It is getting closer and closer to Christmas so I better hurry up with my answers.
- What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Probably when my family and I go out and spend the evening in the city a few days before Christmas. It’s all lit up with pretty lights and we get dinner and walk around and shop. Sometimes there is street musicians and I like to stand and listen to them. Then after shopping and walking we go and grab some ice cream. One year I got chased by a homeless guy (it’s funnier than it sounds).
- What is your favorite go-to winter lippies?
I do not have a favorite lippie for winter as I wear whatever color I want, any time of the year. But Red is always my go too and I love multiple brands. I’m always trying something new.
- What is your favorite winter scent? (Candles, perfumes, etc.)
I don’t really wear perfume or burn candles, though I do love the scent of cinnamon this time of year. So perhaps coffee and cinnamon rolls are my favorite scent.
- What is your go-to winter fashion trend?
Coats, scarfs, gloves, boots and hats. Honestly, anything to keep me warm. But I will probably have to say boots. I love boots and I can wear them in the winter since it’s not warm.
- Your all-time favorite holiday movie?
ELF!!!!!!!! Hands down. For me there is no contest.
- Your all-time favorite holiday song?
All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey. I know that isn’t unique but it just isn’t Christmas until I’ve heard that song. Also, I absolutely adore Carol of the Bells.
- Do you prefer to travel during the holidays or stay home?
I have literally never traveled during the holidays. I have always stayed home. I seriously wouldn’t want it any other way. Travelling is fun but with the holidays combined with it? It would just be stressful.
- Your favorite winter skin care must-haves?
My skin is abnormally sensitive. This means I can’t really try many products on my skin. At the moment, I am liking coconut oil. I have been using it as a moisturizer and so far it seems to be working. Well, see how long it lasts.
- Your favorite winter hair care must have?
My hair fends for itself. My hair is always extremely short so there isn’t much to with it. Also, it means I know very little about hair.
- Your favorite winter activity?
I love to ice skate. I don’t go very often, but when I do I adore it.
- Your must-have winter beauty product?
Why is everything seasonal? I guess my must have is moisturizer. My skin its horribly dry so I need something to save it.
- Do you love the snow or hate it?
Snow is the worst. I wasn’t even a huge fan of it when was little. But where I live we get ice more than snow and ice sucks.
- One item on your wishlist this year?
Just one? Well, if I had to choose just one thing it would either be a certain Wonder Woman jacket from Her Universe or Hot Topic. But It was limited edition and I can no longer find it on the sites. Here’s to dreaming.
- Your favorite holiday treat?
Oatmeal/Butterscotch cookies and cinnamon rolls.
- Holiday shopping finished before December or last minute?
I used to be better about this, but I usually wait till December to shop. But I only have to buy a few gifts and the people aren’t too horrible to shop for (except for my parents)
